Riding on the back of a free laptop distribution scheme in Tamil Nadu and festival sales, the India traditional PC market inclusive of desktops, notebooks and workstations shipped 3.1 million units, up 15.8 percent year-over-year (YoY) during the third quarter of 2019, said an International Data Corporation (IDC) report on Thursday.

Lenovo retained its leadership position with a 28.5 percent market share in Q3, said the report.
