International leaders gathering at the ongoing G7 Summit in this French resort town are reportedly nearing an agreement to help fight the the massive wildfires in the Amazon that were devastating the world’s largest tropical rainforest, the media reported on Monday.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday that a deal to provide “technical and financial help” was close, the BBC reported.
