Chief Ministers from across the country on Saturday expressed their pride in the Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) stride towards the Moon, despite the Vikram lander’s setback.
Their remarks come hours after communications between moon lander Vikram and the orbiter was snapped as the former was only 2.1 km away from its designated landing spot on the moon’s the South Pole early on Saturday, throwing suspense over the fate of Rs 978 crore Chandrayaan-2 mission.
Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said, as he hoped for the revival of communication with the lander.
