Equity indices trim gains to trade marginally higher

The key Indian equity indices trimmed initial gains to trade marginally higher on Tuesday morning.

It had opened on a positive note tracking gains on the Asian stock markets. However, around 9.40 a.m, the equity indices trimmed major gains and were trading marginally higher from their previous closing levels.

At 9.48 a.m., the BSE Sensex was trading at 38,680.92, higher by 13.59 points or 0.04 per cent from the previous close of 38,667.33 points.
