One person has been arrested in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district in connection with an alleged fake video posted on the official Twitter handle of the BJP showing an old man pleading for food in the Covid-19 induced lockdown.
The old man was seen wailing, in the video, that he had gone without food for two days and asking Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that he should either be given something to eat or shot dead.
